  The facility is great but unfortunately the attitude of the senior staff and the way we were treated was not! We have two large breed dogs that we feed premium food to. We were spending several hundred dollars a month at this Pet Value on food and other items. This has all stopped and we have vowed never to set foot in this store again! Here is why... We have used the in-store self bathing stations for shampooing and washing our dogs many times without problems. On the last visit to the dog wash we were watched by a store manager (Anne?) who mentioned several times about the 30 minute limit and if we had been informed about it from the staff (which we hadn't). She talked to us in such a condescending manner. She opened up her laptop and stood there watching us, never leaving us alone while we finished with our dog wash. The pressure on the hose was so low that it took a long time to rinse our dog clean. We hurried as quickly as possible, fully cleaning up after ourselves (cleaning up dog hair in the drain trap and elsewhere). We left the dog wash area, went to the front counter and paid our bill. We asked to speak to the owner who we recognized from previous positive encounters (Heather). After keeping us waiting she finally came over to us. We explained the encounter with store manager (Anne) and how we were treated. At this point, I expected an apology, but non was forthcoming. The best we got was a "I am sorry you feel that way". She was clearly on the store managers side and wasn't going to apologize, even when we said that was all we were looking for, and that if we didn't resolve this we would never be back! She said "If that's the way you feel, I can understand". So after being customers for years, going back to their old location by the beer store and spending hundreds, if not thousands of dollars with them we left. We have not been back since and we don't plan to either. The only thing we miss is Harry the store pet dog!

  We arrived at this location today (August 26th) at 5:25 to use the self dog wash station. We were greeted with annoyance at the front door by two employees who told us we couldn't use it because it because they were closing at 6. Just complete laziness! This is such a disappointing way to be treated, especially when trying to support smaller businesses.
